What's in the Box? Lots of Memory Box goodies!

The Box is Here!  Memory Box has done it again with more fabulous stamps.  This Box is filled with Halloween and Christmas stamps and papers.  10 new 12 x12 papers and 2 new 6x6 paper pads.




We also restocked some of the lovely butterflies.


Our Next Wacky Wednesday Stamp Camp on July 7th will be a Memory Box Demo Day.  We will have at least 4 beautiful cards for you to make.  I know it seems early for Christmas and Halloween, but the sooner you start making Chirstmas cards the more likely it is you will be done in time for Christmas.
I reworked one of the cards a bit.



We also received new Cuttlebug embossing and cutting folders.



I just took some close up photos of the new BasicGrey new Oliver Embellishments and the new Bascis Embellishments.  I'm in love with the chipboard alpha. 
 


Our next Children's Class will be on Thursday July 8th  at 11 AM.  This week we will be making paper flags and decorating paper visors. 


Our next Children's class on Tuesday July 27th at 11:00 AM will be featuring a summery album to decorate.

Wacky Wednesday Stamp Camp

Hi Everyone,

Wacky Wednesday stamp camp is here again.  This week we have 3 loveley cards.  You will get to practice your Copic coloring on the two cards that Jill created using the newest Hero Arts stamps. 


I copied this idea from the Hero Arts blog.   You will be using the Tim Holtz Distress inks and Perfect Pearls to create this summer scene.


Lots of exciting things happened while I was away at the scrapbook convention.  We received the new adorable BasicGrey lines Oliver & Olivia. 



New KaiserCraft Hey Birdie. 


The Jungle Bug collection  had the most adorable bugs perfect for the little bug catchers.  


New Dollar goodies for our Dollar bins.  Glitter Glue, note pads and summery ink pads.




New Echo Park A Walk in the Park.  Another adorable line!


I know a lot of people have been waiting for more Mudd Puddles.  I wiped out the booth at the Scrapbook Convention and brought it back to the store.   We have lots of great sand colors and even some new chipboard albums that will look great decorated in Mudd Puddles.



I wasn't able to get the beach pail album but I love how they decorated it with the net, sand and shells.

Copic & Cuttlebug Demo Day Wed June 23 11-8

Copic & Cuttlebug Demo Day 11-8 PM



We are all ready for our Copic & Cuttlebug Demo Day. This time we created six lovely cards using some Hero Arts stamps, Stampendous stamps and Imaginisce new Splash Dance $1 stamps. We do the cutting and you do the gluing and coloring. Just drop in anytime after 11 AM and purchase tickets for $2 each at the front counter for however many Demos you want to create. We provide glue sticks so if you prefer tape, please bring a labeled tape runner. If you get to the store by 7PM, you should have enough time to do all the demos.
 
If you do 6 Demo cards, you will received a coupon for 20% off one regular priced item of your choice. (Coupon valid 6-23-10 only)
 





 
Our sixth card was designed by Simone from In Style Stamps.  She will be at the store from 11-2 demonstrating how to color skin tones using Copic markers.  We will have this card available all day.

Here is what you missed if you weren't here on Demo Day.   Cindy turned 40!  We made her wear a banner and at the height of Demo Day, we all sang Happy Birthday to her.

New July Calendar & New Splash Dance line

New July 2010 Calendar is here.  We will be adding a few classes towards the end of the month.  Also, the new Kids Classes still need to be added.  Cindy Knies from Eldersburg Elementary School will be teaching our classes for us.

Tuesday June 29th  11 AM
Our First Kids class is a 5x7 ABC Mini album.  They will get lots of stickers and papers to embellish their album with.  All they will need to do is glue everything together.  $12
 

We have lots of the Fiskars border punches in stock in honor of Wendy Jo's visit tomorrow.

Copic & Cuttlebug Demo Day
Wednesday June 23th  11-8 PM

June has been the special guest month.  We have a special guest teaching from 11-2 how to achieve nice skin tones with your Copics.   Simone works with In Style stamps and Clear and Simple stamps.   Todays' card features one of the adorable stamps from In Style and Echo Park papers.  If you can't make it out between 11-2, don't despair, I am Copic Certified and will be able to teach you the technique later in the day.
